6th Edition of the UIA Golden Cubes Awards – Results Announced

The UIA Architecture & Children Work Programme is proud to announce the results of the 6th edition of the Golden Cubes Awards. This triennial award recognises outstanding projects that engage children and young people with architecture, urban space, and the built environment through education, participation, and creativity.

For this edition, 227 projects were registered at national level across 29 countries, reflecting the growing global commitment to built environment education. Following national nominations and an international jury evaluation, five awards and nine special mentions have been granted across the categories of Institution, School, Written Media, Audio-Visual Media, and the Special Award.

The award ceremony will take place during the UIA World Congress of Architects in Barcelona on 2 July 2026.
