Yong Ding Chang’an Pavilion International Design Competition Launched

The Beijing Municipal Commission of Planning and Natural Resources and the Beijing Institute of Architects, with UIA endorsement, have launched an international competition for a pavilion along the Yong Ding River — a pilot project ahead of the 30th UIA World Congress of Architects (Beijing, 2029).

Open to young architects worldwide (born on or after 16 November 1986).

Prizes: €65,000 total (€35,000 / €20,000 / €10,000)
Submission deadline: 16 November 2026
