The results of the UIA 2026 Friendly and Inclusive Spaces Awards are now available!

The International Union of Architects has announced the winners of the 5th edition of the Friendly and Inclusive Spaces Awards, organised by its Architecture for All Work Programme. Recognising outstanding projects across four categories — New Buildings, Existing and Historic Buildings, Public and Open Spaces, and Research — the awards celebrate architectural design that is accessible, empathetic, and inclusive for all.

Global Medal Winners will be invited to present their work at the UIA World Congress of Architects, taking place 28 June – 2 July 2026 in Barcelona, Spain.
